Die Anna-Seghers-Gesellschaft Berlin und Mainz e. V. lädt im Rahmen der Vortragsreihe »Literatur um 1947 in Rheinhessen« zum Vortrag mit Lesung »Anna Seghers und der Georg-Büchner-Preis 1947« ein. Vorgestellt wird die in Mainz geborene Jüdin und Kommunistin Anna Seghers, welche nach einer Zeit im Exil vor dem Nationalsozialismus 1947 zurück nach Deutschland kehrte und im selben Jahr mit dem Georg-Büchner-Preis ausgezeichnet wurde.
In Kooperation mit der Stiftung Haus des Erinnerns - für Demokratie und Akzeptanz Mainz sowie der Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur | Mainz.
