Nonetheless, the organizig committee hopes to welcome as many lupin enthusiasts in person at the baltic sea. Researchers, farmers etc. from different countries and continents come together and share the latest developments in lupin research and production. The conference will highlight the following lupin related topics in sessions and poster presentations:
Lupin Cultivation and Farming worldwide
Phenotypic and Genotypic Variability in Lupin
Lupin 'Omics'
Genetic Improvement
Biotic and Abiotic Stress
Lupin Ingredients and Biochemistry
Feed, Food and Non-Food Uses
For the participants on site, an excursion is planned to visit field trials at the JKI location in Groß Lüsewitz and the lupin breeder location of Saatzucht Steinach in Bocksee, where a lupin processing company ProLupin and the UFOP Association will also be represented.
