The pandapower tool is an easy-to-use open source tool for modelling, analyzing and optimizing power systems with a high degree of automation. It combines the data analysis library pandas and the power flow solver PYPOWER to create an easy to use network calculation program.
This international summer school includes a theoretical overview of pandapower and a deep dive into practical application examples of grid planning and modelling.
Summer school participants will get to know the pandapower toolbox and perform their own programming tasks. The week-long summer school starts with a workshop on the functionalities of pandapower and the distribution of programming tasks. In daily question and answer sessions, participants can work on the tasks with expert support. However, the main programming takes place in self-study. The summer school is structured as follows.
The summer school is aimed at everyone involved in the network planning process, such as
distribution system operators
transmission system operators
municipal utility companies
network operators
associations
research institutes
After the workshop, participants will be able to use the pandapower tool and adapt the code for their personal use cases.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
