Die Deutsche Seemannsmission und der ITF Seafarers' Trust präsentieren in diesem gemeinsamen Ausstellungsprojekt Fotos der Seeleute, die am ITF Seafarers' Trust Wettbewerb im Jahr 2022 teilgenommen haben. Aus über 1000 Einsendungen wurden die besten Bilder ausgewählt. Zu sehen sind 37 eindrucksvolle Bilder, die Seeleute selbst fotografiert haben. Sie werden ergänzt durch deutsche und englische Texte der Seeleute über das Leben und Arbeiten an Bord. Die Ausstellung vermittelt auf diese besondere und ästhetische Weise ein Bild eines der gefährlichsten und einsamsten Berufe der Welt.
