Ground-breaking advances in research have uncovered the neural systems underlying spatial cognition and navigation. With rapidly aging populations across the world, it is crucial to understand the fundamental mechanisms of aging and disease, in particular their impact upon spatial cognition, for the development of clinical assessment tools and interventions that help maintain people’s independence. Following on from the success of previous iSCAN meetings, we have organised iSCAN 2023, a unique meeting that brings together leading scientists in the field of lifespan development, neurodegenerative diseases and spatial cognition, who use a diverse range of methodologies and species.
In addition to the scheduled sessions with our invited speakers (see below), there will also be opportunities to present your research as a short data blitz talk (5-7 minutes) or as a poster. Abstract submission for data blitz and poster submissions will open in due course on the iSCAN website.
In addition to the stimulating academic program, iSCAN will provide ample opportunities for networking and socializing. You will have the chance to connect with like-minded professionals from around the world, share your experiences, and establish new collaborations. We look forward to welcoming you to Magdeburg!

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
