Mina Hava wird für ihren Roman ›Für Seka‹ und ihre bisherigen literarischen Arbeiten mit der Alfred Döblin- Medaille der Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur Mainz ausgezeichnet. In ihrem Debütroman erzählt Mina Hava – so die Jury – »in einer fein ausgeloteten Sprache, verknüpft erzählend Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, Historisches mit Persönlichem ihrer Protagonistin. Elegant gibt sie ihre Erzähltechnik und literarische Vorbilder preis, wenn sie Seka beschreiben lässt, wie W.G. Sebald scheinbar zusammenhanglose und über Kontinente und große Zeiträume getrennte Ereignisse erzählend zusammenführt. Ihr ist ein meisterliches Debüt gelungen.«
