Standardization has an important role in research and innovation investment agendas as it helps pave the way for large-scale deployment of new and strategic technologies. Keeping standards up to date, and developing new ones, coupled with increased EU participation in international standardization bodies, is essential to boost European industry’s competitiveness and resilience and build a sustainable future. However, standardization is a very complex undertaking as experience shows, since it usually involves different stakeholders and different sets of rules that are not always consistent with each other.
In this workshop, potential bottlenecks and possible steps and actions for remediation will be presented and discussed.
The workshop is designed for representatives from additive manufacturing, welding, smart manufacturing and composites. However, interested parties from all sectors are welcome to attend.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
