Laboratory x-ray techniques for materials development and process control

In our on-line course you will learn which information about atomic structure, chemical binding and the 3D microstructure of advanced materials can be provided by X-ray techniques.

X-ray diffraction, X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray microscopy deliver – generally integral – data for bulk materials and thin films nondestructively. We will demonstrate that this unique advantage is playing an important role for the development and introduction of new technologies as well as for the integration of advanced materials into high-tech products, and particularly for process control and for quality assessment.

Information on participating / attending:
All Times are given in Central European Time (CET). Online participation takes place via the DGM's browser-based conference platform. For access, we recommend the latest browser versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge. Registered participants will receive all access information in advance by e-mail. Help

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
