The International Society for Gerontechnology (ISG) encourages and promotes technological innovations in products and services that address older peoples’ ambitions and needs on the basis of scientific knowledge about ageing processes including cultural and individual differences.
The ISG World Conference on Gerontechnology is the most important congress event in this sector. It will take place from September 2 to 4, 2024 at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Frankfurt UAS). In 2024, the focus will be on the impact of global transformation and multiple crises on the care of aging people with assistive and gerontechnological products as well as the sustainable design of these technologies and the environment.
300 participants from 25 to 30 nations from all continents are expected to attend. In the accompanying exhibition in the foyer of Building 4, interested parties can get to know the latest products and concepts.
The congress is hosted by Prof. Dr. Barbara Klein, Speaker of the Interdisciplinary Research Center FUTURE AGING of the Frankfurt UAS and Vicepresident of the ISG, President of the ISG Prof. Dr. Helianthe Kort und Prof. Dr. Kai-Oliver Schocke, President of the Frankfurt UAS.
