Die Möglichkeit eines Cyber-Angriffs auf das Forschungszentrum ist real. Die Frage lautet weniger, ob es passiert, sondern wie das Unternehmen darauf vorbereitet ist. Nicht zuletzt, weil das FZJ ab Herbst 2024 auf Grund der NIS2 (Network and Information Security) strenge Sicherheitsvorkehrungen treffen muss. Dazu gehören die Erhöhung des Schutzes vor Cyberangriffen, die Einhaltung spezifischer Security-Standards sowie die Gewährleistung, dass Systeme ständig auf dem aktuellen Stand sind.
