DEAR COLLEAGUES,
We are pleased to invite you to our groundbreaking Consensus
Meeting on the advanced techniques of in situ cooled
liver resection, ante situm, and ex vivo liver resections.
This meeting provides a unique opportunity to discuss the
latest developments and address the open questions in this
highly specialised field.
Significant progress has been made in the surgical treatment
of liver diseases in recent years. The techniques of
in situ cooled liver resection, ante situm, and ex vivo liver
resections, in particular, offer hope and possibilities for
patients with complex liver conditions. Despite these advancements,
numerous unresolved questions and challenges
remain that need to be addressed.
Our goal is to bring together experts from around the world
to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of
the art and to develop common guidelines.
We warmly invite all global experts and researchers engaged
with these innovative technologies. Your participation
and contributions are invaluable for the success of this
meeting and the advancement of our collective efforts.
We are confident that this meeting will make a decisive
contribution to the advancement of liver surgery. Let us
work together to resolve the open questions and shape the
future of liver surgery.
