Compliance im Datenschutzrecht ist für Unternehmen jeglicher Größe von großer Bedeutung, insbesondere für kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen (KMUs). Datenschutzverstöße können nicht nur zu empfindlichen Geldstrafen führen, sondern auch den Ruf und das Vertrauen der Kunden gefährden. In diesem Kontext stehen KMUs vor besonderen Herausforderungen, da sie oft nicht über die gleichen Ressourcen und Fachkenntnisse wie große Unternehmen verfügen.
