Elena Bonora ist Professorin für Frühe Neuzeitgeschichte an der Universität Parma und von September bis Oktober als Senior Research Fellow am IEG.
Elena Bonoras Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Renaissance, Reformation und Gegenreformation; Katholische Kirche und Römische Inquisition; Papstliche Diplomatie und römische Mächte im frühneuzeitlichen Europa; religiöse Koexistenz und Konflikte in multi-konfessionellen europäischen Gesellschaften (16. bis 18. Jahrhundert).
Mit anschließender Diskussion und einem Weinempfang.
