Am Beispiel des Projekts Smart City #25 DigitalSchoolStory in Pforzheim wird gezeigt, wie Schulen zu Innovationsräumen für Kommunen werden können. Schülerinnen und Schüler arbeiten mit realen Daten zu Klima, Mobilität oder Umwelt, analysieren diese und entwickeln eigene Perspektiven für ihre Stadt. Der Ansatz verbindet digitale Bildung, gesellschaftliche Verantwortung und Fachkräfteentwicklung und zeigt, wie Kommunen junge Menschen früh als Mitgestalter der Stadt von morgen einbinden können.
Nina Mülhens, Co-Founderin und Geschäftsführerin von DigitalSchoolStory sowie Mitglied des MÜNCHNER KREIS und von The Interface Society e. V., beschreibt wie Schulen zu kommunalen Innovationsräumen werden und mit realen Stadtdaten Zukunft gestalten.
