Die Veranstaltung steht im Zeichen der beiden internationalen Themenjahre 2026: das Jahr der Weidelandschaften und des Hirtentums sowie das Jahr der Bäuerinnen.
Im Fokus stehen die Bedeutung von Weidewirtschaft für Ernährungssicherheit und Biodiversität, die Perspektiven von Bäuerinnen weltweit sowie Wege hin zu einer nachhaltigeren und gerechteren Landwirtschaft.
Das Publikum erwartet ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Keynotes, Gesprächsrunden, Workshops und einem direkten Austausch mit Vertreter:innen aus Wissenschaft, Zivilgesellschaft und Politik. Abgerundet wird der Tag durch einen Empfang mit Kulturprogramm und Gelegenheit zum Netzwerken.
