Über 16 Millionen Ergebnisse liefert eine gängige Suchmaschine aktuell für den Begriff „Digitalisierung“. Vom digitalen Wandel wird gesprochen, vom „hinterher hinken“ und einer neuen Revolution. Als Querschnittsthema wird Digitalisierung bezeichnet, etwas, das aus keinem Lebensbereich wegzudenken ist beziehungsweise sein wird: „4.0“ gibt künftig die Richtung an.
