Am 16. Februar 2011 wird Dr. Eric Schmidt, Chairman of the Board und Chief Executive Officer von Google, im Rahmen der FCE-Redenreihe an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin einen Vortrag halten zum Thema: "Google in Europe: Innovations for a digital future".
Die Rede ist eine Veranstaltung des Forum Constitutionis Europae (FCE), einer öffentlichen Vortragsreihe des Walter Hallstein-Instituts für Europäisches Verfassungsrecht der Humboldt-Universität in Kooperation mit der Robert Bosch Stiftung. Es kommen herausragende Persönlichkeiten aus Europapolitik, -wissenschaft und -gestaltung zu Wort.

Eric Schmidt ist ein US-amerikanischer Informatiker und derzeit Chief Executive Officer von Google, der größten Internet-Suchmaschine der Welt. Er kam 2001 zu Google. Seit 2009 gehört Schmidt zum Beraterteam des US-Präsidenten Barack Obama in Technologiefragen. Er lehrt er an der Stanford University.
