Die TU Clausthal und die Moskauer Hochschule für Stahl und Legierungen streben einen Studentenaustausch mit dem Ziel des Doppeldiploms in den Werkstoffwissenschaften an und werden in Russland und Deutschland bei staatlichen und industrienahen Stiftungen nach Möglichkeiten der finanziellen Förderung suchen.
So das Ergebnis eines Gespräches der Moskauer Vizerektoren, Professor Dr. Sergey Nikulin und Herrn Oleg Yasinov, sowie des Lehrstuhlinhabers für Plastizität von Speziallegierungen, Professor Dr. Sergey Dobatkin, mit dem Prorektor der Technischen Universität Clausthal, Professor Dr. Thomas Hanschke, sowie auf Clausthaler Seite den Professoren Günter Borchardt, Juri Estrin und Heinz Palkowski am 29. November im Rektorat der Technischen Universität Clausthal.
