Potsdam. Zu einem zweitägigen Symposium des Hasso-Plattner-Instituts (HPI) kommen ab 8. Oktober rund 40 Wissenschaftler und Praktiker aus aller Welt in Potsdam zusammen, die Experten für innovative Technologien und Methoden des Online-Lernens sind. Sie wollen über neue Formate, didaktische Ansätze und wirtschaftliche Chancen diskutieren. Das HPI präsentiert auf dem Symposium seine am 3. September gestartete Internet-Plattform für offene Online-Kurse in der Informationstechnologie: http://openhpi.de. In diesem sozialen Bildungsnetzwerk lernen mittlerweile bereits mehr als 15.000 Teilnehmer aus 90 Ländern.
Die Teilnehmer des sechsten "Tele-Task-Symposiums" werden sich auch mit weiteren Anwendungsbeispielen für das Tele-Teaching in Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft beschäftigen. Ferner geht es um Techniken der semantischen und visuellen Analyse von Web-Videos. Die Referenten kommen aus den USA, Kanada, Großbritannien, Frankreich, Slowenien und Deutschland.
