Prof. Dr. Friso Ross ist alter und neuer Dekan der Fakultät.
Nach den Gremienwahlen im Juni hat sich der neue Fakultätsrat der Fakultät Angewandte Sozialwissenschaften am 15. Juli konstituiert. Zu ihm gehören die Professoren Dr. Dagmar Dörger, Dr. Heike Schulze, Dr. Esther Weitzel-Polzer, Dr. Doron Kiesel und Dr. Ronald Lutz, die Mitarbeiterinnen Susanne Paton und Susanne Stribrny sowie die Studierenden Konstantin Fuchs, Anna-Sophie Laux und Marcus Franke.
Das Gremium wählte in geheimer Wahl Prof. Dr. Friso Ross erneut zum Dekan. Das Präsidium der FH hat die Wahl am 23. Juli bestätigt.
Professor Ross lehrt in der Fachrichtung Soziale Arbeit das Lehrgebiet Recht der Sozialen Arbeit. Seine erste Amtsperiode als Dekan begann 2013. Der Amtsantritt für seine zweite Amtsperiode wird am 1. September 2014 sein.
