Die Terrormiliz "Islamischer Staat" scheint unaufhaltsam. Wie wurde dem IS der politische Boden bereitet, welche Ziele verfolgt er? Viel wird debattiert über die Folgen des Konflikts für die westliche Welt, aber auch die regionalen Auswirkungen sind dramatisch. Doch ist der IS allein verantwortlich für die regionale Destabilisierung? Welche Rolle spielen die Machtbestrebungen einzelner Staaten im Nahen Osten und in Nordafrika? Und wie kann der IS gestoppt werden?
