Wissenschaft, Kunst und Feuilleton widmen sich diesen Fragen schon länger: Leben wir in einem neuen Erdzeitalter, dem Anthropozän? Hat der Mensch die Natur als gestaltende Kraft abgelöst? Und wenn ja, wann? In der diesjährigen ISOE-Lecture widmet sich Prof. Dr. Christoph Görg der aktuellen Debatte um das Anthropozän. Der Politikwissenschaftler und Professor am Wiener Institut für Soziale Ökologie geht dabei der Frage nach, was die Diskussion über unser Verständnis von Natur und Gesellschaft aussagt. Zeigt sie eine neue Phase der Dialektik gesellschaftlicher Naturbeherrschung an? Und welche Impulse ergeben sich daraus für die transdisziplinäre Forschung?
