Panel Discussion: Personalized Medicine - Pros and Cons?
The objective of personalized medicine is to make the treatment as individualized as the disease, to analyze a person's susceptibility of developing a certain disease and its response to a certain treatment. First drugs are on the market and the expectations are high. However, the costs of such individualized treatments also present a challenge for the public health sector.
