New bioproduction systems include but are not limited to cell-free biosynthesis, artificial or integrated biosystems, protein complexes for scaffold and metabolic channeling, biosynthesis in nano-materials and microfluidic systems. The design and production of components (biobricks) and modules for these new and synthetic bioproduction systems are also within the scope of the workshop.
The workshop is jointly organized by the DECHEMA temporary working party "New Bioproduction Systems" and the Hamburg State Excellence Cluster "SynBio: Fundamentals of Synthetic Biological Systems".
