The nano4water cluster has initially been set up as a tool for coordination between and dissemination from the five projects resulting from the joint ENV-NMP call in 2008. In the meantime further NMP projects joined the cluster or expressed interest in joining it. So this cluster is developing into a focal point for EU research in nano-enabled water treatment, which we would like to maintain.
The nano4water series aims on bringing together activities and results of the areas named above allowing finding synergies to boost development status and ways into application. The 3rd workshop themed “Nano- and membrane-based systems for water treatment“ will be organized and housed by Fraunhofer IKTS in Dresden. The program starts on Wednesday, April 17 and ends on Thursday, April 18 in the afternoon.
Call for papers
Authors of conference papers are kindly requested to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation related to the theme “Nano- and membrane-based systems for water treatment“. All Papers should be submitted electronically as a Word file by e-mail to nano4water@ikts.fraunhofer.de by February 9, 2013.
Please note the following instructions to submit your paper to the workshop: The length of the document should not exceed two pages. The text should be set in Times New Roman 10 pt using 1.5 line spacing. Please underline the presenting author, title and add the complete address, phone and fax numbers as well as e-mail address at the top of the first page. Abstracts will be reviewed by the organizers by February 23, 2013.
Call for exhibitors
Moreover we invite you to present your company at the 3rd workshop of the nano4water cluster. The accompanying product show can be held at a booth sized approx. 5 m². Each booth includes table, poster board (A0) and 240V AC power supply.
Please use the registration form. Subsequently we will contact you soon for further arrangements. The list of exhibitors will be announced online and published in the program.

Fees
Regular 250,- euros
Students* 100,- euros
Exhibitors 400,- euros
Accompanying person 150,- euros
The registration fee includes coffee, two lunches, the conference dinner and the conference documents.
Registration will be possible with the registration form. Please use one form for each participant. In case of cancellation until April 10, 2013, the total fee will be refunded. After this date, a refund of the registration fee minus an administration fee of 50,- euros is possible.
* Only students with valid student card qualify for the reduced fee.
