The European Union as an Actor in International Economic Law

The University of Luxembourg’s Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance is hosting a conference on the EU’s role as an actor in international economic law on 1 and 2 October 2015. The conference will bring together international lawyers and EU external relations lawyers to discuss the role of the EU in the fields of international trade and investment law.

The event is organised jointly by the Research Unit in Law at the University of Luxembourg and the Centre for the Law of EU External Relations at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut, The Hague. The conference is co-chaired by Prof. Matthew Happold of the University of Luxembourg and Prof. Mads Andenas of the University of Oslo.

Registration is free. Journalists are welcome to attend all or select sessions. To sign up, please contact Johannes Hendrik Fahner. The conference is hosted from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 1 and 2 October at the University of Luxembourg’s Weicker Building, Meeting room B001 (ground floor), 4 rue Alphonse Weicker at Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
