Introduction of the beta version & call for testers: INCREACE recyclability assessment tool

In the EU INCREACE project, Fraunhofer IZM, PHILIPS and PEZY collaboratively developed a tool for designers and engineers to calculate the recyclability rate of a product and point out design improvements. It enables designers to develop recyclable design options only using product data available to the designers. The tool is based on years of experience and collaboration with recyclers, backed with scientific insights. Come together and have a live session together with the developers.

In an online introduction we present the methodology and give you insight into the functionalities. You can also apply to become a first practitioner to test the tool in your daily work and provide valuable feedback. Optionally join a selected group of people in Eindhoven to test the tool live and experience what happens to products in recycling during a visit at Mirec’s recycling facility.

Introduction to the tool & apply for the testing phase
In this one-hour webinar we will guide you through the tool and answer your questions.
Participants will get the chance to apply to become firsthand tester within a testing period of 3 weeks and provide valuable feedback so that we can soon hand the final tool to the public.

LIVE in EINDHOVEN – March 27th 9-17h
Live testing of the tool & tour at recycler Mirec
Come together and have a live session together with the developers.
Following the online introduction you’ll have time for an extensive testing session which we finish with a tour at MIREC’s recycling facilities to experience state-of-the-art electronics recycling live.
