9th European Symposium on Biomaterials and Related Areas (BioMAT 2027)

The 9th BioMAT 2027 symposium invites researchers, industry professionals, and medical experts to discuss the latest innovations in the field of biomaterials. With the rapid growth of biomaterials research, particularly in Europe, BioMAT 2027 will provide a platform for exploring cutting-edge developments in the creation, characterization, testing, and application of biomaterials across a wide range of disciplines.
The symposium will address a variety of topics, from the design and characterization of bioactive, biodegradable, and functional materials to the biological responses and clinical performance of biomaterials. It will feature presentations on smart materials, tissue engineering, drug delivery, and the regulatory and manufacturing challenges in bringing biomaterials to clinical use.

The 9th BioMAT 2027 will also highlight the growing importance of biomimetics, biomineralization, and biopolymers. It will feature a mix of plenary lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions, providing a comprehensive view of the state of the art in biomaterials science.
Abstract Submission:
The organizers invite the BioMAT community to submit abstracts for lectures, poster pitches, and posters. Young scientists are particularly encouraged to contribute. Abstract submission deadline: October 14, 2026.
