Zum 1. Januar 2016 übergab der bisherige Träger und geschäftsführende Gesellschafter der Cologne Business School Jürgen Weischer die Hochschule an die Klett Gruppe.
Zukünftig wird die Cologne Business School durch Prof. Dr. Florian Hummel und Prof. Dr. Birger Lang gesetzlich vertreten.
