Potenziale und Grenzen heutiger und zukünftiger Medizin-Informatik-Anwendungen werden den Klinik- und Praxisalltag revolutionieren. Angefangen von der elektronischen Patientenakte, über Arztinformationssysteme und den Einsatz mobiler Kommunikation im Krankenhaus bis hin zu Online-Gesundheitsportalen. Anhand von konkreten Projekten weisen die Referenten Sinn und Nutzen dieser Technologien nach und diskutieren mit dem Publikum über wirtschaftliche, soziale und ethische Aspekte der Medizininformatik.
