The idw and the press offices of its member institutions will put journalists in direct contact with experts who are ready and able to answer queries - should you have further questions following your own research in specialist publications, reference books, idw news archive and other sources of information.
The lists of experts maintained by idw are set up for selected topics which are expected to meet with great public interest over a long period of time. The lists contain the contact data of experts and specialists in arts and sciences who are prepared to provide journalists with background information, assessments of the situation and/or to give interviews.
You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
