Dear colleagues and friends,
The organizers of the HCV2004 meeting cordially invite you to Heidelberg to participate in the 11th International Symposium on Hepatitis C Virus and Related Viruses. Since the first meeting of this series in Venice in 1992, this symposium became one of the most important international conferences dealing with all aspects of hepatitis C, from molecular virology to pathogenesis. In line with this tradition, the 11th symposium will cover these topics and put an additional emphasis on 'development and evaluation of novel antiviral drugs and therapy regimens'. We would like to encourage all colleagues and those interested in these areas to come to Heidelberg and to actively participate in this meeting. The organizers will do their best to create a relaxing atmosphere for a productive meeting, but after all, the success depends on each individual contribution.
The meeting will take place from October 3rd to 7th, 2004, in the conference center ('Stadthalle') of Heidelberg, which is in the historical center of the city. Moreover, we are planning a banquet in the old castle of Heidelberg. The castle is the landmark of the city and close to the conference center.
The website will be updated steadily as we approach the meeting. For your information, we suggest that you regularly visit our website and check for the latest information.
