Das Heidelberger Institut für Immunologie kann im Jahre 2006 auf eine 100-jährige Geschichte zurück blicken. Aus diesem Anlass hat Herr Professor Meuer eine Vortragsreihe initiiert, die in den nächsten zwei Jahren unter dem Titel "Immunologie in Deutschland" steht. Während dieses Zeitraums werden die Leiter immunologischer Einrichtungen in Deutschland ihre Institute und zentrale Forschungsinhalte vorstellen.
