With the 1st International Symposium in the frame of NANOFUN-POLY we would like to establish a platform for scientific exchange and to pool expertise in this important field of material science. Special care and devotion is given to identify and promote promising young scientists and to establish a close interaction with industry.
The conference will cover a broad range of polymer science but with focus on nanostructure synthesis and design as well as characterization and application of nanostructured and functional polymers.
The planned two parallel sessions on:
- Synthesis and modification of nanostructured polymers/nanocomposites
- Characterization and properties of nanostructured polymers/nanocomposites
will guarantee a balanced program with a close and intense scientific exchange.
The program will include only a limited number (6) of invited lectures (30 min.) to give room for up to 60 contributed lectures preferably from the younger generation (20 min.) and a maximum of about 60 posters.
Long breaks and especially long poster sessions for intensive discussion and for making contacts together with contributions from industry are meant to promote the intense and active participation of young researchers and PhD students.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
