Am 8. April eröffnet die Ausstellung "POLAR / BLICKE" in der Zentralbibliothek Am Wall in Bremen ihre Pforten. Sechs Künstlerinnen und Künstler stellen dort ihre Fotos und Installationen zum Thema Wasser und Eis aus. Die Aussteller ließen sich auf Reisen mit dem Forschungseisbrecher Polarstern des Alfred-Wegener-Instituts für Polar- und Meeresforschung inspirieren. Die Kunstausstellung ist vom 8. April bis zum 7. Mai in der Zentralbibliothek zu sehen und gehört zum Reigen der Veranstaltungen zum 25-jährigen Bestehen des Alfred-Wegener-Instituts und zur "Stadt der Wissenschaft 2005".
