Die Ausstellung gründet sich auf dem ersten Mathematikmuseum der Welt, dem Mathematikum in Gießen. Prof. Albrecht Beutelspacher und sein Team schufen dort eine Erlebniswelt, in der man mathematische Objekte und Phänomene direkt erfahren und erleben kann.
Der außerordentliche Erfolg des Museums das riesige Interesse seitens der Bevölkerung führten zu einer Wanderausstellung, die bisher an 130 Orten Deutschlands gastierte und fast eine Million Besucher begeisterte.
