GEISTESWISSENSCHAFT IM DIALOG versteht sich als ein aktuelles Diskussionsforum für Fragen aus Wissenschaft, Kultur und Gesellschaft, die informativ und unterhaltsam präsentiert werden. Die Reihe möchte der interessierten Öffentlichkeit die oft komplexen Zusammenhänge zwischen der geisteswissenschaftlichen Forschung und deren Bedeutung für die Gesellschaft darstellen.
GEISTESWISSENSCHAFT IM DIALOG wird von der Leibniz-Gemeinschaft und der Akademienunion veranstaltet und vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung gefördert. Schirmherrin der Veranstaltungsreihe ist die Bundesministerin Dr. Annette Schavan.
