The format of the conference will take the form of oral and poster presentations, break-out groups and round table discussions, with plenty of time for social gatherings and informal meetings. A document will summarize the main conclusions of the meeting. It will cover all areas of relevant research including glacial sedimentology, chemostratigraphy, palaeoceanography, numerical climate modeling, geochronology, palaeomagnetism and palaeogeography, geodynamics, tectonics, palaeontology and molecular biogeochemistry.

Due to restrictions on numbers as a result of the availability of accommodation, attendance at the conference will be by written invitation from the organizing committee only.
