Prof. Dr. Cosima Schmauch, Absolventin der Saarbrücker Informatik (Diplom 1978, Promotion 1982) ist seit fünfzehn Jahren Professorin an der Fakultät für Wirtschaftsinformatik der Hochschule Karlsruhe. Sie vertritt hier das Lehrgebiet Wissensbasierte Systeme.
Cosima Schmauch berichtet über Ihren beruflichen Werdegang und zeigt die Chancen auf, die man als Informatikerin in der Forschung und Lehre an Hochschulen hat. Darüber hinaus hat sich Cosima Schmauch mit Existenzgründungen und deren grundsätzlichen Hürden und Schwierigkeiten beschäftigt. Unter anderem hat sie an einem Online-Kurs für Existenzgründerinnen mitgewirkt. Prof. Schmauch wird in ihrem Vortrag Tipps geben, wie man als Existenzgründer die typischen Fallstricke vermeiden kann.
