Die Tagung Magma 2006 wird von der KANT Gruppe vom Institut für Mathematik an der TU Berlin zusammen mit der Magma Gruppe von der University of Sydney or-ganisiert. Die Themen der Tagung sind Geometrie, Zahlentheorie und Kryptografie. Das Hauptziel der Tagung ist es, den Austausch zwischen Benutzern und Entwicklern der Computeralgebrasysteme KASH/KANT und Magma zu fördern. Studierende im Schwerpunkt algorithmische Algebra und Zahlentheorie sind angehalten, an der Tagung teilzunehmen.
