Zu sehen sind Arbeiten von Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern (1892 bis 1982), Blalla W. Hallmann (1941 bis 1997) und Gustav Mesmer (1903 bis 1994). Die Künstler litten unter psychischen Störungen, hielten sich zur Behandlung in psychiatrischen Kliniken und Pflegeheimen auf oder führten ein selbstgewählt isoliertes Leben. Anhand ihrer Werke lassen sich unterschiedliche Aspekte im Spanungsfeld von Krankheit und Kreativität thematisieren. Zur Eröffnung sder Ausstellung prechen Prof. Dr. Jens Frahm vom Max-Planck-Institut für biophysikalische Chemie sowie der Nervenarzt und Psychoanalytiker Dr. Hartmut Kraft (Köln).
Öffnungszeiten: Mittwoch bis Freitag von 15 bis 19 Uhr, Sonnabend von 10 bis 17 Uhr.
