Entzündliche Reaktionen nach herzchirurgischen Eingriffen stellen für alle beteiligen Berufsgruppen - Herzchirurgen, Anästhesisten und Intensivmediziner -eine große Herausforderung dar. Die interdisziplinär und international ausgerichtete Tagung gibt einen Überblick über die Funktionsweise des Körpers bei inflammatorischen (entzündlichen) Prozessen in Verbindung mit Operationen. Zudem werden therapeutische Optionen zur Prävention und Behandlung der entzündlichen Reaktion in der Kardiochirurgie vorgestellt.
