Am 23. Mai 2007 wird in aller Welt des 300. Geburtstages von Carl von Linné (Carl Linnaeus) gedacht. Der große schwedische Naturforscher, Arzt und Philosoph hat insbesondere für die biologische Systematik Bleibendes geleistet. Die Fachrichtung Biologie ehrt Linnaeus mit einem öffentlichen Veranstaltungsprogramm, zu dem herzlich eingeladen wird. Im Mittelpunkt der Ehrung steht die Frage, wie Linnaeus' Erbe hier und heute gepflegt wird.
