Sie bezweifelt die These von Hagens von der "Demokratisierung der Anatomie" ebenso wie die Behauptung, dass es sich bei den "plastinierten" Leichen (von Hagens: "Körper, flexibel wie Schnuller") um echte, reale und natürliche Menschen handele. Das Körperwelten-Projekt verwische gezielt zentrale Begriffe wie Mensch, Leben, Tod, Körper und Demokratie. Der Vortrag zeigt auf, wie diese Begriffe in der Ausstellung wortlos vermittelt werden und dabei die Bedeutung von Individualität, Person, Würde und den Rechten des Subjekts auf Selbstbestimmung verschieben und damit auch die Idee vom sozialen Zusammenleben beeinflussen.
