Die Themen Neurobiologie und Psychopathologie der Aggressivität stehen im Mittelpunkt des 5. Rostocker Hansesymposium unter der wissenschaftlichen Leitung von Prof. Dr. med. Sabine Herpertz und PD Dr. med. Elmar Habermeyer.
Untersucht werden die Fragen, inwieweit aktuelle neurobiologische Befunde unseren Vorstellungen von Freiheit und Verantwortung entgegenstehen bzw. ob sie zu deren Modifikation führen. Dabei steht die Problematik des Umgangs mit dem Phänomen Aggressivität in der Allgemeinpsychiatrie, des Umgangs mit klinischen Risikogruppen ebenso zur Debatte wie das Verhältnis Forensische Psychiatrie - Allgemeinpsychiatrie. Gleichfalls erörtert werden Möglichkeiten zur Prognose aggressiven Verhalten und das Risikomangament unterschiedlicher Populationen.
