Am Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e. V. (IPF) wird vom 10. September 2007 bis zum 10. Januar 2008 eine Ausstellung der Dresdner Künstlerin Katrin Pinter gezeigt.
"Phantastische Welten" ist eine Zusammenstellung von ca. 20 Bildern, die entstanden, indem die Künstlerin digitale Aufnahmen von Pflanzen aus dem Dresdner Botanischen Garten computergrafisch ummoduliert hat, zum Teil unter Verwendung von Metallinsekten aus Elektroschrott von Tobias Schmidt. Den Besucher erwarten ungewöhnliche, oft märchenhaft anmutende Ansichten, in denen sich Formen und Strukturen aus Pflanzenwelt und Technik zu begegnen und ineinander zu fließen scheinen.
Eröffnet wird die Ausstellung mit einer Vernissage am 10. September 2007, 16.30 Uhr.
