Scientific progress depends on discussion and interaction. For this reason scientific conferences are especially important for younger researchers.
ORCHEM has developed into one of the most important organic chemistry conferences in Germany for academics, industrial chemists, and students alike and now it takes place in Weimar for the first time in 2008.
ORCHEM is not a specialized conference, but rather encompasses the entire field of organic chemistry. ORCHEM is a meeting point for renowned scientists from Germany and abroad. At the same time ORCHEM is tailored to the interests of Ph.D. students. An important feature of the program of ORCHEM is a poster session where young researchers can present their latest results. We invite you to submit poster until May 8th, 2008.
At ORCHEM 2008 lectures from the following areas are planned: new synthetic methodology, biological and medicinal chemistry, physical organic chemistry, organic materials, organocatalysis, transition metal catalysis, and natural product synthesis.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
