Electrochemical phenomena and applications span a very wide range of topics - from chemistry, physics and engineering to biology and medicine - from fundamental and theoretical aspects to industrial processes. It is the aim of this first joint conference of Fachgruppe Angewandte Elektrochemie, ELACH, DBG, Dechema, AGEF and GfKorr to address this range of subjects, to emphasize the common aspects, to bring together colleagues from the different fields and to focus the meeting activities.
