Der Neujahrsempfang soll Gelegenheit geben, noch einmal die Ergebnisse und Erfolge des zurückliegenden Jahres Revue passieren zu lassen und einen Ausblick auf die neuen Aufgaben und Ereignisse des Jahres 2008 zu geben. Der Präsident der TU Berlin Prof. Dr. Kurt Kutzler begrüßt zu diesem Anlass hochrangige nationale und internationale Vertreter aus Wissenschaft, Forschung, Wirtschaft, Politk und Kultur.
