Die globale Verknappung von Energie- und Rohstoffressourcen sowie der Klimawandel mit seinen möglichen ökologischen, ökonomischen und sozialen Folgen sind zentrale Herausforderungen der nächsten Jahrzehnte. Die Entwicklung nachhaltiger Lösungsansätze für diese Problemstellungen ist nicht nur eine anspruchsvolle Aufgabenstellung für Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft, sondern bietet auch interessanten Marktchancen für innovative Technologien. Vor diesem Hintergrund informiert das Seminar über aktuelle Forschungsprojekte aus diesem Themenfeld.
Die Leitung des Seminars haben Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans Reiner Böhm und Prof. Dr. Johannes Jager vom Institut WAR (Wasserversorgung und Grundwas-serschutz, Abwassertechnik, Abfalltechnik, Industrielle Stoffkreisläufe, Umwelt- und Raumplanung)der TU Darmstadt.
